We are proud to
offer personalized services to each of our customers. Please schedule
an appointment for groups as we are limited on space, fitting rooms and
sales staff.
Deposits
We require deposits
on all dresses, accessories and tuxedos. 50% of the total invoice must
be paid before any special order is placed with the manufacturer. We take
most all forms initial payment, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express,
Travelers Checks, and Money Orders.
Final Payments
All special order
merchandise must be paid in full within 10 days of the receipt from the
manufacturer. These items will remain in a layaway type environment until
the last payment is made. Final payment must be made by cash, credit or
debit card. No checks will be accepted on final payments.
Layaway
A non-refundable
deposit of 20% of the total invoice must be paid to place merchandise into
layaway, with the balance due within 90 days. After 90 days, the merchandise
will be returned to stock. All deposits are non-refundable.
Group Discounts
Bridal parties
can take advantage of our group discount policy.
When the bride purchases her dress through us, the entire bridal party
will receive 10% off any bridesmaids, flowergirl and mothers dresses and
all tuxedo rentals.
Bridal parties of 5 or more bridesmaids receive 10% off each dress.
Tuxedo Rentals
50% of entire
invoice total must be paid prior to ordering tuxedos. Please order at
least 2 weeks prior to wear date. Tuxedos must be back to the store by
the following Monday or $50 a day late fee will apply.
A valid state
ID, Drivers License or credit card is required, $50 refundable deposit
on cash rentals.

orders can be taken over the phone. Please have credit card available
when calling.

Sizing
All clothing is
ordered by individual manufacturers size charts. We will measure
bust, waist and hip and compare it to the companies size chart. Size
must be measured by the largest chart measurement. Additional charges apply
for custom manufacturing. Bridal gowns that are beaded close to the front
edge should be measured hollow to hem prior to ordering. It costs less to
have the dress made properly than it is to have a seamstress remove part
of the beadwork when hemming it up.
Dresses in sizes
18 + are considered upsized and manufacturers charge an additional amount
for the extra fabric/beading.
Color
Manufacturers
use different colors to draw attention to their product. We do everything
we can to match any color brought in to us. We have 185 colors of tuxedo
vests available, 450 colors of gloves and a wide range of colors for bridesmaid
dresses. Shoes are dyed to color swatches, but should be dyed out
of the same dye lot or there will be a variation in color. The same with
bridesmaid dresses. They should be ordered from the same store, so the dresses
are made from the same dye lot fabric.
Anything which
is dyed or custom made cannot be exchanged nor returned to the manufacturer.
Satin shoes dyed
to match chiffon dresses may not match exactly.
Cancellations
We understand
that certain events are unforseen and sometimes something needs to be cancelled.
If you call within a few days of placing your order with us, we can generally
cancel an order and get a refund on your deposit. If that order is already
in the manufacturers production system, there is no way to cancel it.
All Sales are Final
The following
merchandise is considered non-refundable. Sale rack dresses, bras, lingerie,
shoes, jewelry, discounted/on sale gowns, special order bridesmaids, bridal
gowns, prom dresses, special occasion, and altered or dyed merchandise.
New, in store merchandise, sold at full price, returned undamaged, with
all tags, receipts and in the original container/bag/box within 5 business
days will be given an in-store credit.
Shipping
We can ship anywhere
for an additional charge/postage. Drop shipping is available through a
few manufacturers.
Alterations and Policies
Alterations are
available at an additional charge and done by A Time To Sew. The Wedding
Shop and A Time To Sew are two seperate businesses. Dresses need to be
paid in full before any dress is sent to alteration. Alterations
are done by appointment only. Please wear all undergarments and shoes
for fittings. If you have been pinned and cancel an alteration before
it has been started, a $25.00 pinning fee will apply. Please allow
2-6 weeks for alterations.
